Solvang has signed contract for two new ships
Solvang and partners have today signed the shipbuilding contract for two 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers, and have the option to extend the order with additional two vessels.
With reference to the disclosure dated 16th of February 2017 where Solvang and partners announced a LOI with Hyundai Mipo Dockyard for the construction of 2 firm + 2 optional 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers for delivery Q1 and Q2 2019. Solvang and partners have today signed the shipbuilding contract for two 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers, and have the option to extend the order with additional two vessels.
The ships are designed for the future with full exhaust gas cleaning and Tier III compliance, giving high flexibility with regards to existing and future environmental regulations.
