Solvang declares option for two additional 21 000 cbm ethylene carriers
Solvang and partners have today declared the two optional ships and signed the shipbuilding contract for the two additional 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers, increasing the order to a total of four 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers.
With reference to the disclosure dated 24th of March 2017, where Solvang and partners announced having signed the shipbuilding contract for two firm + two optional 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers with Hyundai Mipo Dockyard. Solvang and partners have today declared the two optional ships and signed the shipbuilding contract for the two additional 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers, increasing the order to a total of four 21.000 cbm ethylene carriers. The last two will have delivery in Q2 and Q3 2019.
The ships are designed for the future with full exhaust gas cleaning and Tier III compliance, giving high flexibility with regards to existing and future environmental regulations.
